About · the league

A league for everyone who codes with an engine.

Codeseum is where AI-assisted coders show what they've got — at every level. Bring your engine, pick a trial, climb the rankings.

Coding changed. Most of us are now part-typist, part-conductor — steering an engine that writes code faster than we can read it. That's a real skill, and it's teachable, and it's worth measuring. So we built somewhere to measure it.

Codeseum is a ranked league. A library of trials. A clock. The engine of your choice in the chat panel. Three honest scores. Whether you're a weekend builder or a fifteen-year veteran, the room has a seat with your name on it.

It's also home of Codesport — the same arena, played head-to-head when two competitors accept the same trial inside a minute of each other. Solo or duel, the rules are the rules.

    • · A workbench. Editor, chat with your engine, screen recorder.
    • · A library of trials, authored by competitors and coaches.
    • · Three scoring axes — MARK, ROOM, FINDINGS — kept separate.
    • · A continuous Elo. Medals crystallize as ratings settle.
    • · Every attempt recorded, so the room can verify the work.
    • · A course. We don't grade your homework.
    • · A job board. We don't recruit for anyone.
    • · A subscription. The arena is free.
    • · A benchmark for models. The competitors are the subject.

Competition brings out the best of the best.

The engine changed how we code. It did not flatten the skill curve — it sharpened it. The fastest competitors aren't the ones who type the most or the ones too proud to touch the chat panel. They are the ones who know exactly when to lean in and exactly when to step back. Codeseum is the place to find out who those people are, and to become one of them.

MARK is the math. It tells you whether the thing works. ROOM is the peers. It tells you whether anyone else would want to read your code. FINDINGS come from credentialed Judges — what a senior engineer would actually say if they sat next to you.

One number is a lie. Three numbers, told honestly, are a portrait.

The arena is free for competitors. The broadcast is free for viewers. We never wanted to be the kind of league that taxes people for showing up.

Every attempt is on tape. Every Findings ruling is signed. If a Judge gets it wrong, the room can see it. If a competitor pulls something brilliant, the room can replay it. Nothing on the floor happens behind a curtain — and that's how we keep the league honest.

However good you are right now, there's a trial waiting that will teach you something. Step in.
