    Multi-platform streaming

Stream from your machine. Everywhere at once.

Codeseum doesn't host or relay streams. You stream from OBS over your own internet to whichever platforms you want — your YouTube, Twitch, Kick, all simultaneously. Then upload the recording to the official Codeseum YouTube channel for Elo validation.

    The hard rule

Personal streams on YouTube, Twitch, Kick, or anywhere else are encouraged for visibility and audience-building. Only runs uploaded to the official Codeseum YouTube channel count for Elo, ladder placement, season standings, and prizes.

    Recommended setup

    1. OBS Studio (free) for capture and recording.
    2. Multi-RTMP plugin — Aitum MultiStream or Multiple RTMP Outputs (both free) — to simulcast.
    3. Stream to your own YouTube, Twitch, Kick, and any other platform at the same time.
    4. After the run, upload the recording (or export from the live VOD) to the official Codeseum YouTube channel.
    5. Submit the official Codeseum YouTube URL on the run-submission screen.

    Why this rule

Forcing official-channel uploads concentrates discovery on Codeseum's YouTube — that grows the platform's audience while keeping you free to grow yours.

    Live, or it doesn't count

Reward events are live or they don't count. Webcam optional. Mic optional. Live screen share required, no exceptions. If you can't live stream your screen, you're not eligible for reward events. We can't feel bad about this — recognition on the line means we have to verify the run.
